Our goal: Train young talent! 

We are looking for an apprentice as System Catering Specialist EFZ for our restaurant. 

The EFZ training is a three-year program aimed at individuals motivated to gain a holistic view of the profession, gradually take on responsibility, and develop long-term in system catering. 

Profile 

This apprenticeship is for you if: 

  • You have completed secondary school 
  • You have basic knowledge of German (spoken and written) 
  • You enjoy practical and manual work 
  • You enjoy working in a team and interacting with customers 
  • You are reliable, punctual, and eager to learn 
  • You like following clear guidelines and processes 
  • You are stress-resistant and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment 
  • Order, cleanliness, and hygiene are among your priorities 

Your future profession 

As a System Catering EFZ apprentice, you will receive comprehensive and varied training that combines practical experience with in-depth theoretical knowledge. 

Among other things, you will learn: 

  • Preparation of products and serving customers according to high quality standards 
  • Organize work and collaborate effectively in a team 
  • Understanding and applying restaurant work processes 
  • Quality assurance, hygiene, and safety 
  • Gradually take on more responsibility in various positions 

As your training progresses, you will also be introduced to: 

  • Work planning and team organization 
  • Cost control and resource management 
  • Basics of marketing and customer satisfaction 
  • Principles of personnel management 

Your training 

The EFZ training lasts 3 years and includes: 

  • Practical training directly in the restaurant 
  • Courses at vocational school to deepen theoretical knowledge 
  • Inter-company courses to link theory and practice 

Your federal diploma (EFZ) is a solid foundation for your professional future at McDonald's or in gastronomy. 

Your development prospects 

After your EFZ, many opportunities are available to you: 

  • Direct entry into the job market 
  • Development towards leadership positions (Manager, Management) 
  • Internal or external further training 
  • Development opportunities in restaurants or at the Head Office in Crissier
