At McDonald’s Switzerland, Strategy & Insights plays a central role in transforming data and market intelligence into actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making and business performance.”

To strengthen our Strategy & Insights department at our administrative headquarters in Crissier / Lausanne, we are looking for a Business Insight Intern (80-100%) for a duration of 12 months, starting on April 1, 2026, or as agreed.

Under the supervision of your internship supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparation, monitoring, and analysis of weekly and monthly reports on sales, product mix, and promotions


• Updating and preparing PowerPoint presentations for the monthly performance review presented to the Executive Committee


• Ad hoc analyses on our BI platform


• Monitoring KPIs for the McDonald’s app and conducting ad hoc analyses as required


• Creation, review, management, and regular updating of the Item database


• Monitoring competitors’ developments, including their promotional activities and the growth of their restaurant networks

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, digitally curious and comfortable taking ownership.

- You are studying economis and management or have completed your studies in this field

- Reliable, diligent, and able to multitask while remaining well organized, you can prioritize your work according to different deadlines and coordinate your tasks with those of your team.

- Able to take responsibility and work independently, you are flexible and proactive.

- You have a strong analytical mindset and are comfortable working with numbers. You have an excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint and are eager to further develop your skills with these tools.

- You have very good knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written; German is an asset.

- Recognized as a serious individual, you are naturally curious and open-minded, enjoy helping others, and like working as part of a team.

- You are not afraid of challenges and appreciate dynamic work environments.
