Role Description 

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you support the Restaurant Manager in leading the team and ensuring smooth operations. You take on extra responsibilities to keep everything running perfectly, set a great example for food safety, quality, service, and hygiene, and help drive the restaurant’s success. You coach and motivate team members, coordinate priorities, and foster a positive, respectful atmosphere. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the team with empathy, respect, and patience 
  • Communicate openly and manage conflicts constructively 
  • Set strategic priorities and coordinate daily operations 
  • Coach and support Shift Leaders and Crew for optimal performance 
  • Ensure food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, and hygiene standards 
  • Use management tools for planning, cash handling, ordering, and inventory 
  • Analyze KPIs and support initiatives for restaurant development 
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff engagement 
  • Handle complaints and create ‘feel-good’ moments for guests 
  • Maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues 

Required Qualifications 

  • Experience in team leadership or hospitality is a plus 
  • Strong communication and conflict management skills 
  • Analytical, organized, and tech-savvy 
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to learn 
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work under pressure 
  • Good command of the local language (spoken and written)
