Role Description 

As a Shift Coordinator, you’re the go-to person for your team and guests. You organize and lead your shift, keep things running smoothly, and make sure everyone feels welcome and safe. You motivate your crew, help out wherever you’re needed, and bring positive energy to every shift. You set the example for food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, and hygiene, and you’re always ready to coach and support your team. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Organize and lead your shift for a smooth restaurant experience 
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members 
  • Maintain high standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and hygiene 
  • Support your team in busy moments—whether in the kitchen, at the counter, or in the restaurant 
  • Foster teamwork and motivate your crew 
  • Communicate openly and manage conflicts with empathy and respect 
  • Use planning and management tools (cash counting, ordering, inventory) 
  • Support training and development initiatives 

Required Qualifications 

  • Reliable, responsible, and positive attitude 
  • Enjoy working with people and leading a team 
  • Open, empathetic, and respectful communicator 
  • Proactive, inventive, and eager to learn 
  • Analytical and tech-savvy 
  • Resilient, flexible, and optimistic 
  • Good command of the local language
