Because our business is growing fast, we are looking for talented people to strengthen our main offices that provide support to all restaurants. To complement its Finance department based in Crissier, McDonald’s Switzerland is looking to fill the role of

Real Estate Finance Consultant (full-time – 100%)

This position will play a key role in driving long-term growth and supporting the strategic decision-making of group. Real Estate Finance role will focus on Real Estate development and related operations such as new restaurants opening, reinvestments and other investments. The candidate should be able to think creatively to solve problems and develop innovative solutions that improve processes or provide new perspectives on business performance. This will include the use of new technologies or methodologies.

You will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Analysis and financial monitoring of new projects and modelling of reports.


• Supervision of asset accounting


• Financial reporting and Capital expenditure management


• Responsibility for internal processes (Sarbanes-Oxley) and maintenance of documentation and controls relating to these processes.


• Development of accounting procedures and budget planning


• Supervise building valorisation and other insurance topics.


• Backup for other finance and controlling tasks

Field

To be successful in this role, we believe you need to be/have:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a finance-related position.


• A degree in finance, accounting, economics, business management, or a related field.


• Fluent in English, German and French


• Agile thinking and the flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment.


• At ease with new IT solutions (Power-BI, Smartview for Office, Oracle…)


• The capacity to work well in a team and to positively influence decisions.


• The ability to anticipate future trends and challenges to guide business strategy.


• A strong understanding of McDonald’s systems and technical services.


• Independent yet able to work as part of a team.


• Strong assertive communication and presentation skills.
